Superstition Hike

Join us for a post-rain adventure in the Superstition Mountains as we head out in search of seasonal waterfalls.

With recent rainfall, this is one of the best times of year to explore the desert and see it come alive.

We’ll be hiking the Massacre Falls Trail, a scenic 5.4-mile out-and-back route with approximately 1,102 feet of elevation gain. The trail is rated moderate and offers beautiful desert views, rocky terrain, and the chance to catch flowing water at the falls if conditions are right.

What to Bring:

• Sturdy hiking boots with good traction

• Plenty of water• Snacks or a light lunch
