Trade your Wednesday evening plans for sunset from the top of one of Phoenix’s most iconic peaks.
Join She Roams for an evening hike to the summit of Piestewa Peak. We’ll climb as the sun gets lower, take in the city and desert views from the top, then make our way back down after sunset.
Don’t let the short mileage fool you, Piestewa is a challenging climb. AllTrails rates the Summit Trail Hard, with approximately 2 miles round trip and 1,145 feet of elevation gain. The City of Phoenix gives the Summit Trail its highest rating, Extremely Difficult, due to its steep, rocky terrain and significant elevation gain.
