About the event
Let's get ready to backpack!! REI is hosting a private beginner's backpacking class just for those registered for a She Roams backpacking retreat. Learn everything you need to know to hit the trails for an overnight adventure. The class will cover trip planning, the 10 essentials, gear selection (packs, sleep system, shelter, cooking/food/food storage, hygiene, clothing, 10 essentials, trekking poles, beyond the 10 essentials), Leave No Trace principles, local multi-day hikes (for all skill levels), and how to fit your backpack to your body frame.
