About the event
Join us for a relaxed group hike at Butcher Jones Trail, one of the most scenic and approachable hikes in the area. This is an easy 3-mile out-and-back hike, perfect for all experience levels and a great way to move your body while enjoying lake views and good company.
After the hike, everyone is welcome to stay and enjoy a casual picnic on the beach. Bring a towel or blanket, a picnic lunch, and anything you’d like to snack on as we hang out by the water and get to know each other a little more.
Come solo or bring a friend, this hike is all about community, fresh air, and easing into the year together.
Please note that a Tonto Pass is required for parking. These can be purchased at various gas stations around the valley or at the kiosk at Butcher Jones parking area.
